? Hmm, let’s guess: Roblox fine jewelry? Otherworld leather goods? Decentraland couture? Thankfully Meta Campania Collective is none of the above. This new Paris based label creates IRL items that are all made in Italy and whose high quality, pragmatic design and beguiling identity adds up to a proposal you could call non-fungible if you wanted to—but why not just stick with unique?Back to that name, however, which is a bit of a kick in the teeth for Facebook.
Said Strassburg: “The inspiration is the artist. We love the mindset of an artist; the freedom and the lack of compromise—and obviously also the way artists dress is a great inspiration… It's always very nonchalant, it always underlines the personality without ever overshadowing. And they never like branding, they always like great quality.”
He added: “The idea really behind the product is no compromises. So being really schooled in the best houses, we want to make sure that we produce products that are impeccable, from the materials to the way that they’re made.” This portrait of the artist might sound a little all-encompassingly abstract, but along with that emphasis on quality it has resulted in some low-profile pieces that are highly attractive. As you can see from these lookbook images, Keinath has extended the Collective concept by recruiting a cast of Parisian fashion buddies—including Alexandre de Betak, Sarah Andelman, and the mighty Leon Dame—to model his collection.
