I think the casting came out in January 2020. I went into the casting office, and I got called back twice. Then COVID started spreading more in America around mid-February 2020, and we had to go home. When I heard back in April of 2021, I couldn’t believe they still remembered me. When I went to go film for my first time in April, it just felt so strange and surreal being there with the cameras and the whole setup.
I would not have been able to do that. I don't want to say this, because it's kind of inappropriate, but if you watch the scene you already know. There are these props that look like penises. One day, one of the extras was holding something and she was like “This is sperm.” I was like, “What!?” I hadn't seen the scene yet. And then she was like “Oh, you'll see.” And then I saw it. It was awesome.Everything. If you watch the show, there are so many wonderful shots.
But no, it was just amazing to get to see her work, especially during that moment. Episode 7 was a crazy, crazy time. It was cool to have that as my first experience in acting, especially being in school.Were there any other experiences in general with cast members, writers, or creators that stood out to you?Like I said, I was still in school. I had to turn in papers while I was in my hotel room, and I was in a dance class. I had to send in videos of me just dancing in my hotel room.
