Food is a central theme in my life and always has been. I don’t just eat food. I read it, watch it, listen to it,and give and receive love through it. Food inspires me.
It took time and internal work to realize I was on the wrong path. This is where Phoenix comes into play. The Valley holds special meaning for me because it’s where I discovered my calling.A pivotal meal in the Sonoran Desert During that meal, I realized that for the first time in years, it felt like I was just where I was supposed to be. I wrote about the experience, I decided that it was time to commit to food writing full time. Since then, I have had the pleasure of meeting so many people in the Valley doing unique things with food. As I've told their stories, I've fallen even deeper in love with the tastes of the desert.
