A new bill would see Medicare coverage change for millions of Americans by offering at-home care services.Democratic U.S. Congressman Pat Ryan of New York proposed the Improving Access to Emergency Medical Services for Seniors Act, which would add coverage to at-home treatment for minor health issues under Medicare.
'The bill Representative Ryan is leading is dealing with an issue that is continually gaining traction and rightfully so,' Alex Beene, financial literacy instructor at the University of Tennessee at Martin, told Newsweek. 'Many seniors, especially those in rural areas, are encountering fewer facility options for healthcare.
