WM HARI Kraf Kebangsaan 2020 (HKK 2020) kini berlangsung hingga 9 Mac depan di Kompleks Kraf Kuala Lumpur.
Berbeza dengan penganjuran sebelumnya, HKK 2020 mengetengahkan tema Kraf Memperkasa Sosioekonomi Rakyat yang turut menjadi aspirasi kerajaan demi Kemakmuran Bersama.
“Penggiat kraf diharap memanfaatkan kehadiran pelancong menerusi penghasilan produk bertaraf antarabangsa, mengikut trend terkini, unik serta beridentitikan Malaysia. Di akhir HKK 2020 diharap nilai jualan iaitu RM18 juta tercapai,” katanya.Beliau turut menyampaikan dua anugerah iaitu Anugerah Tokoh Kraf Negara kepada Rohana Abdul Rahman dari Sweet Touch Ceramic Sdn Bhd dan Anugerah Usahawan Kraf Muda 2020 dari Syarikat Kayu Warisan Enterprise Johor, Nor Hazilawati Buang.
“Untuk itu, pelbagai produk sempena Tahun Melawat Malaysia 2020 meliputi bidang tekstil, hasil rimba, logam, hasil tanah mahu pun aneka kraf yang berasaskan ikon dan ‘signature’ yang melambangkan identiti Malaysia diketengahkan kepada orang ramai,” katanya pada sidang media di Kompleks Kraf itu, baru-baru ini.
