Mechanicsburg snapped a nine-game slide in its rivalry with Carlisle, scoring a 34-6 win behind four TDs from quarterback Eli Reider

Right before halftime, the Wildcats were cruising down the field, in the red zone on the 15-yard line, and that’s when Josh Smith made a run to the end zone, prompting Eli Reider to lob one up in the back right corner, where Smith made the incredible play, hauling down a reception and score. And, of course, one cannot forget about that Randy Moss-style catch made by Josh Smith late in the first half. The catch had heads turning and electrified Mechanicsburg’s sideline and student section, bringing energy to the week one rivalry matchup.
