The Pomona Unified School District is asking voters to approve a property tax increase to fund $385 million in renovation and repair projects.The Pomona Unified School District serves about 22,000 students across 39 schools. PUSD wants money to upgrade classrooms; repair leaky roofs and deteriorated restrooms; repair plumbing, gas, and electrical systems; provide safe drinking water; and remove asbestos, mold, and lead paint, among other things.

PUSD estimates the bond would cost property owners that live within the school district's boundaries an average of $60 per $100,000 of assessed value.
