In this twisted world, Bruce Wayne still witnesses the murder of his parents in Crime Alley, but after he is immediately chosen by a Green Lantern ring. This was due to the strength of his will and the immense emotional trauma he experienced. Embracing the dark, Bruce would use corrupted green energy to manifest nightmarish constructs from his mind, making him a terrifying and unstoppable foe for his world. Dawbreaker was so strange that we wiped out his universes, the Green Lantern Corps, and the Guardians of the Universe. McFarlane Toys is no stranger to the creepy creations, which is what made the Dark Knights a great early wave to ease collectors into the DC Multiverse toy line. Dawnbreaker did come with a demonic bat energy effect, and two versions were released: a standard and a 2-Pack with Green Lantern. All of the Dark Knights figures were really well done in the DC Multiverse, and this was the wave that really hooked many collectors to their new DC Comics line. It'll be a sad day when the DC Multiverse is no more, so collect your favorite while you can. Collectors can still purchase Batman: The Dawnbreaker on a few sites, including Big Bad Toy Store.
