Through the years, I’ve had many variations of McDonald’s chicken—McNuggets, buttermilk chicken tenders, McCrispy sandwiches, you name it. First, let’s hear McDonald’s descriptions. The McChicken Biscuit is “made with a crispy chicken fillet and a biscuit that’s baked to perfection and brushed with real butter.”Now, my impressions.When I rolled up, there were about nine cars in line, split between two drive-through screens.
Together, the cakes and the chicken provided that sweet/spicy combination that you find in the sauce that comes in Chinese takeout bags.: Probably not. The griddle cakes had that faux pancake syrup flavor and I didn’t like the overall consistency of a crisp chicken filet inside something spongy.: When I travel in the South, I love to have a chicken biscuit for breakfast. It’s a nice change from my usual oatmeal or bagel.
