On Tuesday, the chain’s CFO Ian Borden told Fox Business it has “created a larger satiating burger.'
Earlier this year McDonald's re-released the Double Big Mac with four patties. But the chain is considering another big burger expected to be released later this year, according to Fox Business.“We’ll be testing this burger in a few markets later this year, ensuring that it has universal appeal before scaling it across the globe,” he told the news outlet.
McDonald’s didn’t share any details about the future menu item, but“We’re addressing an unmet customer need across markets for larger high-quality burgers,” Kempczinski told the outlet in February. “We’re working horizontally across the system to innovate. As we test and learn, we’ll be working to understand how the new offering will complement our already established burgers, like the Double QPC or the Big Tasty.”the chain said aims to make burgers “hotter,” “juicier” and “tastier.
