Exciting new McDonald's menu items were introduced this week, so we selected some to try. The menu included some brand new items, along with some returning fan favourites.
This was a mighty feast, so I enlisted the help of some eager ECHO employees to assist me. Here is what we thought of the new McDonald's menu additions.I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m a huge fan of spicy food. I found this boded well for McDonald's latest burger outing, as the spin for this sandwich is that the fast food giant teamed up with Frank’s RedHot sauce to create the ultimate spicy burger.
Speaking with my colleagues, I do believe that I had a more excitable reaction to my McSpicy than they did for their burgers, but maybe it was my spicy food obsession shining through.These dippers are another fan favourite. While you only get three to a box usually, McDonalds also has the option for a share box, which comes with nine dippers, along with the zesty salsa sauce. Perfectly cheesy and nicely crisp, my only wish was that there were more.
However, the taste was really nice as the bun was firm and the cheese made with Emmental paired nicely with the smoky sauce.
