PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission should investigate the awarding of the demand responsive transit Selangor Mobility Initiative pilot project to a company co-founded by the husband of Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh , says MCA .
She questioned the explanation by Selangor investment, trade and mobility committee chairman Ng Sze Han over how the project was awarded. He said in a statement on Friday that two companies, Asia Mobility and Badan Bas Coach Sdn Bhd, were given the nod by the Land Public Transport Agency to run the services when the state initiated the DRT pilot project.
The company was founded in 2018 by Yeoh’s husband Ramachandran Muniandy, who is its chief executive officer, and another partner.
