: Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang bertindak merobohkan sebuah gerai makanan yang dikendalikan warga asing di atas laluan pejalan kaki di Farlim di sini hari ini.
MBPP memaklumkan pihaknya menerusi Jabatan Pelesenan, Jabatan Penguatkuasaan, Jabatan Perkhidmatan Perbandaran, Jabatan Kejuruteraan dan Tenaga Nasional Berhad serta Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang telah melaksanakan operasi bersepadu meroboh struktur haram yang dibina di atas laluan itu. “Hasil risikan dan pemantauan yang dijalankan mendapati gerai makanan berkenaan dikendalikan oleh warga asing dan siasatan di lokasi juga mendapati gerai itu mengalirkan sisa makanan serta minyak di dalam parit awam sehingga menyebabkan air bertakung dan longkang tersumbat,” menurut MBPP dalam hantaran di Facebook malam ini.
MBPP memaklumkan pihaknya telah merobohkan gerai haram tersebut dan membersihkan sisa binaan serta longkang yang tersumbat sehingga air mengalir dengan baik. Pihak MBPP akan meneruskan tindakan dan pemantauan dari semasa ke semasa di lokasi tumpuan yang telah dikenal pasti.
