UniTeam presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and his running-mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte have widened their leads over their closest rivals, based on partial and unofficial data coming from the Commission on Elections transparency server.

Marcos has sought to just thank his supporters, and not claim victory this early; presidential rival Vice President Leni Robredo has called on her own supporters to respect the “voice of the people”; while other presidential candidates Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, Leody De Guzman, and Sen. Panfilo Lacson have either conceded defeat or hinted at giving up the fight.

Protests have erupted, questioning the speed and suspicious circumstances surrounding the release of the partial and unofficial results.
