Mayoyo: Williams is on Arendse's level

The Mamelodi Sundowns goalminder received the Golden Glove award at the Africa Cup Of Nations that was won by hosts Ivory Coast, while his team Bafana Bafana took the Fair Play Award and a bronze medal. The 32-year-old Williams kept five clean sheets in the tournament."I remember his selection in the Ama-Binneplaas team," Mayoyo tells KickOff.
"That's where his senior national team journey started. He has always been a natural, to be honest. The capability was evident, it's just that as a goalkeeper you can only mature as you grow, hence he conceded five goals in his first game for Bafana against Brazil. "There's a lot that has been put into his development. I believe where he is right now, he can play anywhere overseas, he is very composed and doesn't make things difficult for himself. When it comes to goalkeeping, age means nothing because goalkeepers mature with age. This is a good age for him to go overseas.
