Screen Rant is pleased to present an exclusive first look at a clip from the upcoming comedy, Maybe I Do. This multi-generational romantic comedy tells the story of a couple on the road to marriage, and the hilarity abounds when it conspires that not only are the couple's parents acquainted, they're having affairs with each other. The film features a veritable who's who of the Hollywood A-list, including Diane Keaton , Richard Gere , Susan Sarandon , Emma Roberts , William H.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Michelle and Allen are at the stage in their relationship where it's inevitable that the question of marriage has come into play. As they contemplate the next steps one decision is made - they must introduce their parents to each other. Only it turns out some of them are already acquainted, as Michelle's dad has been having an affair with Allen's mom, and Allen's dad has been having an affair with Michelle's mom.
The poster for Maybe I Do introduces all the players in the story. In each corner are the stars in the middle of the drama. Michelle's parents, Grace and Howard, feature on top, with their counterparts and paramours, Allen's parents Sam and Monica, featured below. Centered are happy couple Michelle and Allen in what appears to be wedding clothes, which indicates that in the end, all will end up right for them regardless of their parents' shenanigans.
Maybe I Do proves to bring some levity to balance out Vertical Entertainments January slate, which includes the horror films Blood, starring Michelle Monaghan, and Alone in the Dark with Ashley Benson. The film continues a trend that heralds a return to the rom-com genre with the 2022 release Ticket to Paradise, starring Julia Roberts and George Clooney, and the Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum vehicle, The Lost City.
