The Love Island host has added another big ITV gig to her CV - alongside Love Island...
Maya Jama is joining the panel of The Masked Singer, it was revealed today. The Love Island host will be taking over from Rita Ora in the line-up, whose job is to guess who the celebs inside show's elaborate costumes are, alongside Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan. Joel Dommett is going to return as host.
Rita's announcement as Masked Singer's newest star took place in a pre-recorded video that showed Jonathan, Mo and Davina getting texts, like the contestants do on Love Island, informing them a new "detective" would be joining the panel. She was then seen turning around in a chair, saying: "Hello hello hello."
"I can't wait to figure out who's underneath all those incredible costumes, vibe to their performances, and get front-row seats to the unmaskings. I've watched the show for a long time, so I'm definitely bringing my A-game to the panel!"
