In a recent interview with PEOPLE, actor and director Ethan Hawke, who is Hawke's dad, spoke about directing his daughter in the forthcoming film, Wildcat, which is set to be released on May 3. While directing Maya, Hawke said he had to be careful not to “fawn over” his daughter's talents when he was on set to ensure that he kept a professional environment.
” Maya Hawke plays Robin Buckley in the series and joined the cast for season three. Her character befriends Steve Harrington, played by Joe Keery when they work together at a local ice cream shop. The chemistry between Robin and Steve was so great that fans even pitched a spin-off series with just the two characters. Despite that, Maya also previously explained that she would be prepared for her character to die in the final season as well.
