May Bank Holiday opening times for all major supermarkets

Many will operate different opening hours

Millions of Brits are enjoying an extra day off on Monday, May 1, in what is the first of three Bank Holidays this month. While many of us will be enjoying the spring weather with a walk or a spot of gardening, others might want to hit the shops.

ASDA On Monday, May 1, the majority of Asda stores will be opening 8am to 8pm - although some may open earlier and stay open later. Check your local ASDA opening hours here. Morrisons On bank holiday Monday, the majority of Morrisons stores will be open from 7am until 8pm in England and Wales however this may vary from store to store. Sainsbury's Superstores in England and Wales will open under shorter hours on Monday, May 1, with most listing times between 8am and 8pm. Sainsbury’s Local convenience stores are scheduled to be open from 7am until either 10pm or 11pm on Monday. Check your local Sainsbury's opening hours here.
