Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has weighed into the debate around VAR following Luis Diaz's disallowed goal for Liverpool at Tottenham Hotspur
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has described the VAR mistake in Liverpool's defeat to Tottenham Hotspur as "embarrassing."
The Professional Game Match Officials Limited released a statement following the full-time whistle at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium acknowledging the "significant human error" that led to Diaz's strike not being given. "It's two different things. I trust in VAR. I trust in the car. But not the driver. That is the problem," he told reporters.
"Human mistakes can happen. When the referee makes some mistakes we can all accept because that can happen. When that happens with the technology, it's difficult to understand but we can not complain.
