When Taylor Swift released her 11th album, Matty Healy ., yesterday it sent fans into a frenzy as it appeared she included 'savage' track about 1975 frontman Denise Welch
Now, in a chat with the Daily Mail, Matty's family have broken their silence on how the singer would react to it all. His aunt Debbie Dedes said: "He will not be surprised by the song. Him and her know what went on." The 1975 singer is thought to be dating model Gabbriette Bechtel, and his aunt said he is, "very happy in his new relationship so I'm sure he will be focussing on that."
Matty has opened up about his drug issues in the past and also said in interviews he is tired of speculation about his height, claiming to be 5ft 10ins, but dwarfed by other members of The 1975. He told The Fader in 2018: "Everyone in is 6ft 4ins and I'm 5ft 10ins, so everyone thinks that I’m 5ft 5ins."
