Matthew Lewis opened up about avoiding the 'pitfalls' of child stardom with his 'Harry Potter' costars during the height of fame: 'We were all there together.'

"Frequently, you hear many stories of how they were the sole actor in that movie and having to carry that movie on their own and all of the pressures and anxieties that come with that," added Lewis, noting that it was the contrary for him and his costars that included Lewis said "a lot of the fears that we had were all shared," as the cast bonded over the very particular and unique experience of coming of age on a Harry Potter set. "One of the only things that I still hold onto is those relationships that we forged throughout those films," said Lewis.
Lewis starred in all eight films as Neville Longbottom, a fellow Gryffindor who joins Harry Potter's fight against Lord Voldemort and destroys the antagonist's seventh and final Horcrux when he beheads the snake Nagini.series, billed as a faithful adaptation of the book series by author J.K. Rowling, is currently in development over at HBO withearlier this year."It's not something I'm looking at or want to do but would not turn my nose up at," said Lewis at the time.
