On Instagram, Matteo proudly looked back on his first remote coverage experience as he stood “shoulder to shoulder” with the “Unang Hirit” team.

“Proudly standing shoulder to shoulder with the @unanghirit team, broadcasting live from Albay,” he wrote. “Our objective? Steadfast and clear - to bring support to our kababayans that had to be relocated due to the level 3 warning from Mayon Volcano.”“As dawn broke, Mayon presented us with a sight to behold - a spectacle. let's stay safe, stay strong, and keep faith that the volcano will stabilize,” Matteo added, saying he is "proud to be part of this mission.
