'I think we get a nice sendoff and I think it's funny throughout.'
Veep's seventh and final season continues to unfold Sunday on HBO, and star Matt Walsh suggests the acclaimed series' sendoff truly"delivers."
"Season 7 finds Mike working for BuzzFeed. At the end of Season 6, Selina kicked Mike out of her inner circle. He's scrambling to support three children, thinking about getting another one," Walsh told Newsweek."He is on the road, Skyping home to his family, living with college-age kids and trying to adapt, once again, to a media world that's just much faster than he is.
"I think we get a nice sendoff and I think it's funny throughout. I do think it's like no other season before it," he continued."We've ramped up the absurdity and pace. There's also a lot of people who come back from all the seasons. You're going to get to see all the great characters who were born and they all come through for a victory lap. So I think it's a pretty special season.
Walsh also offered up a bit of advice for Spicer and current White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders over their involvement in Trump's administration:
