Despite years passing since The Batman was released, director Matt Reeves' comments to SFX Magazine confirm that The Batman Part II is still very much in the works. While The Batman proved to be a highly popular DCEU adjacent movie in 2022, the film arrived at a tumultuous time for DC and Warner Bros. Studio as the entire universe of stories was shifting. As a result, development of a sequel was painfully slow, with almost no details being revealed about the upcoming film.

However, thanks to Reeves finally speaking out about the project and his discussions with the studios, it appears that Robert Pattinson's Batman is still very much anticipated to return.
