Director Matt Reeves provides an update regarding the script for The Batman Part II, which is scheduled to hit theaters in 2026.
’s Directors on Directors, Reeves said that he’s currently finishing up the script for the upcoming sequel to The Batman, The Batman Part II, and intends to film the movie next year.He further said of his experience working on the script, “It’s wonderful, except for the speed of getting something done. The thing is that for me, I feel like it’s not a choice. I always feel like I would never do it the way I’m doing it, except that that’s the only way I know how to do it.
Plot details for The Batman Part II remain under wraps at this time. It is currently unknown who the main antagonist that the Dark Knight will have to face will be., “I’m excited about getting back there, but you probably know as much as I know. I haven’t read anything. I haven’t talked to Matt for a while. He’s been off doing his thing, I’ve been off doing mine. But I look forward to getting back there.
The Batman Part II is currently scheduled to be released in United States theaters on October 2, 2026, from Warner Bros.Briarcliff Entertainment has announced the official Magazine Dreams release date for the upcoming bodybuilding drama starring Emmy nominee Jonathan Majors.
