Carrie-Anne Moss says the final day on The Matrix 4 was 'bittersweet.' She added, 'It felt so good to have done it to have been with everyone, it didn't have quite – it had some emotion, for sure, but not quite in the way that it did years ago.'
The end of The Matrix Resurrections was a bittersweet moment, says Carrie-Anne Moss, who portrays the series’ Trinity. The Matrix Resurrections released earlier in December, almost two decades after The Matrix Revolutions, which was the trilogy’s final installment. The film saw the return of several familiar faces including Keanu Reeves as Neo, and Moss as Trinity, while Lana Wachowski returned to write and direct, this time without her sister, who is the original trilogy’s co-creator.
“So at the end of this one, the last day of this one, it was bittersweet. It felt so good to have done it to have been with everyone, it didn’t have quite – it had some emotion, for sure, but not quite in the way that it did years ago.”
