Matlock Season 2 Renewal Ordered, CBS Issues Statement

CBS has announced the Matlock Season 2 renewal for its newest legal dramedy starring Oscar winner Kathy Bates.

-led show of the same name which lasted for nine seasons from 1986-1995. Following its broadcast debut a month ago, the reboot is currently Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, with a Tomatometer rating of 100%.

The reboot is executive produced by Snyder Urman, Joanna Klein, Eric Christian Olsen, Kat Coiro, and Bates. This marks Bates’ first TV project after previously starring in American Horror Story: Apocalypse in 2018.
