Matilda Anna Ingrid Lutz wore Chanel for her red carpet debut at CannesFilmFestival. See how the Final Cut star got ready for her chic couture moment
can be intimidating, but for Italian-American model and actor Matilda Anna Ingrid Lutz, there was added pressure. When Lutz attended the premiere for her film yesterday, it was the first time she was seeing the project in its entirety—with a full audience alongside her, no less. “I was very nervous and excited at the same time,” Lutz tells. “I knew the Palais would’ve been full of artists I love and admire, so I felt the pressure.
Considering Cannes is just as much about the glitzy red carpet as it is about the films, Lutz also felt a duty to deliver a strong look. “I wanted something that would represent me and would make me feel comfortable at the same time,” says Lutz. “I wanted the look to be modern, chic, and with a rock touch.” To hit all these fashion points, she chose a silk tulle gown from, which had delicate embroidery work on the top.
