Sam Richardson has joined the Matchbox cast for the upcoming live-action movie, which will be led by John Cena.
cast for Mattel Films’ upcoming live-action film adaptation its own real-world die-cast car toy line. Further details about his character are still being kept under wraps. Besides Matchbox, Richardson is also attached to star in several project, including the adventure comedy Sacrifice with Anya Taylor-Joy, and the comedy movie Let’s Have Kids! with Karen Gillan., and Candy’s Jessica Biel. It will be directed by Sam Hargrave, who’s best known for helming Chris Hemsworth’s Extraction movies.
“For nearly 70 years, Matchbox has carried enormous cultural relevance and inspired generations of kids to unleash their imaginations, combining what they see in the world every day with what they dream their own world to be,” Brenner said in awhen the project was first announced back in 2022.
