At least 22 people are dead following a deadly shooting in a Maine city that spanned three locations on Wednesday night, Fox News has confirmed.
Fox News has confirmed that the active shooter incident occurred at three locations— Schemengees Bar and Grille Restaurant, a Walmart store and Sparetime Recreation.in Lewiston, a city of 36,000, 35 miles north of Portland.Maine State Police says it is responding to an active shooter situation in Lewiston. A shelter in place order has been issued for the entire city. Police are asking residents to stay home with their doors locked. Investigators say they are at two locations right now.
A local hospital, the Central Maine Medical Center, said that they are reacting to a "mass casualty, mass shooter event."Image 1 of 3"Central Maine Healthcare is coordinating with area hospitals to take in patients," the hospital said.
