Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood spent last season on loan at Getafe.
Greenwood has not featured for United since his arrest in January 2022 for attempted rape, controlling behaviour and assault – charges that were later dropped. The player denied all allegations against him.that Greenwood had been retained by the club, it looks certain he will continue his career away from Old Trafford.
Juventus are confident they can negotiate a lower fee and are looking to find 'advantageous formulas' to get the deal over the line.It is claimed Juve could use one of Samuel Iling-Junior or Federico Chiesa in a potential swap deal for Greenwood, who is entering the final year of his contract at United.
"Incredibly grateful to the Getafe family and fans for an amazing season, thank you for making me feel welcomed and one of your own. I enjoyed every second, alongside my team-mates and club," Greenwood posted on Instagram.United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe said in April that no decision had been made on Greenwood's future at the club.
"There is no decision that's been made. He's on-loan obviously, but he's not the only one. We've got one or two footballers that we have to deal with and we have to make a decision on, so we will do that."
