BREAKING: Mason Greenwood to be released from prison after being granted bail following appearance in court
Manchester United footballer Mason Greenwood will be released from prison after bail was granted at a court hearing.
The 21-year-old English international, who was not present for the bail application hearing, has been charged attempted rape; engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour; and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Manchester Magistrates’ Court previously heard he is charged with attempted rape relating to an alleged incident on October 22, 2021; engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour between November 1, 2018 and October 15, 2022, namely accessed and monitored social media accounts, stopped and altered the way the complainant socialised, and making threatening and derogatory comments towards a female; and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, with a period between December 1 2021 and December 31...
