m. in front of 50 2nd Ave. in the East Village, when a 51-year-old cab driver was on break from his tour. While sitting in his vehicle, four unidentified men, dressed mostly in black, approached the cabbie and asked for a ride to a “specific location,” police said.After the victim denied the request, one of the suspects whipped out a gun and pulled the driver from the vehicle. All four suspects then hopped inside the vehicle, leaving the victim behind, and fled to parts unknown. Meanwhile, using a tracking device, police were able to track the victim’s vehicle and found it later in Newark, NJ. Police released a surveillance video of the suspects, which shows them entering a store, with at least three of them wearing blackface masks. Three suspects were last seen wearing black sweatshirts, dark-colored pants and black sneakers.
