Marysville Police are looking for three suspects they said are connected to a Tuesday morning smoke shop burglary., shows a driver ramming a car into the front of the store, knocking down the window.
Two other people are also seen in another vehicle. A spokesperson from the Marysville Police Department said both vehicles were stolen. The store's manager told KOMO News that $2,000 worth of vapes were stolen, and now they’re left with thousands of dollars worth of damages. In the two years the manager’s worked at The Smoke Shop he said he's never dealt with a break-in.“We also had a break in here. It was due to the doors not being closed all the way. They just wiggled their way in caused a lot of damage,” said Quiring.
Not only has Quiring's business been broken into before, she said the plaza parking lot has been a hot spot for vehicle break-ins. Her wish is to see a boost in safety measures like more security guards and cameras installed for the shopping center.“I don't want to lose business, because a family doesn't feel safe to bring their child to a childcare center. We want them to be able to bring them here and feel like it’s a safe place for them,” Quiring said.
