A Marysville man is facing charges following an officer-involved shooting incident in Perry County on Thursday.
Zachary Conroy , 41, is accused of injuring a Marysville Borough police officer who was called to handle a domestic incident, according to charging documents.The Marysville officer responded to the 300 block of Cassell Street on Thursday for the domestic call.
Conroy allegedly ignored officers’ orders to get down, after which officers used an "Electronic Immobilization Device". The officer was able to handcuff one of Conroy’s hands, at which point more officers responded to help. Officers used the Electronic Immobilization Devices multiple times before they were able to fully handcuff Conroy and perform life-saving measures, police wrote in charging documents.
