Washington County (Maryland) Circuit Court Judge Andrew Wilkinson, 52, was found in his driveway by deputies after a report of a shooting at 8 p.m. at his home in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Albert said law enforcement is “actively working” to apprehend the suspect, Pedro Argote. Argote was a party to a divorce hearing but was not in the courtroom for the proceedings on Thursday. Albert said custody of Argote’s children was awarded to his wife. He said law enforcement had responded to calls of domestic violence at Argot’s home before.
