Pedro Pascal's Reed Richards looking tense as he pushes down a lever in The Fantastic Four: First Steps

Avengers: Doomsday updates are finally coming after such a long wait, and with multiple trailers on the way, the Marvel Cinematic Universe might have actually already revealed what is in them. Initially, the report was that the first look at Avengers: Doomsday's story would arrive in theaters with Avatar: Fire and Ash, which releases on December 19.

That remains true. However, Marvel Studios has a much more ambitious plan than just releasing a single trailer. Instead, the MCU is about to drop four Avengers: Doomsday trailers in rapid succession, with each teaser playing for a week in theaters before switching to the next. Fans have since started debating what the trailers could show, but I feel the answer is clear, lying in Avengers: Doomsday's cast. Marvel Studios Has Already Confirmed Which Teams Appear In Avengers: Doomsday The cast of the MCU's next Avengers movie was announced all the way back in March, revealing Marvel franchise veterans, Multiverse Saga newcomers, and even members of Fox's original X-Men. Recently, a Disney event in Italy outlined all the teams that will appear in the next Avengers movie, revealing who will be part of Captain America's new Avengers team. The five teams presented were Sam Wilson's Avengers, the Fantastic Four, the former Thunderbolts, the X-Men, and the Wakandans. However, in terms of the movie itself, I believe those five superhero teams will turn into four. Namor was bundled up with the Wakandans even though he is not from the nation and could also see his interests align with Doctor Doom's. After all, Namor and Doom have worked together in the comics. Additionally, Shuri, the MCU's new Black Panther, makes sense for one of the two Avengers teams that will be in the movie. Finally, with so many characters confirmed for Avengers: Doomsday, I can't see M'Baku having a big role in the film. As such, four core teams remain. The Four Avengers: Doomsday Trailers Could Each Focus On An MCU Team Yes, it is entirely possible that each Avengers: Doomsday trailer will have minimal changes when compared to the others. However, with Marvel Studios going out of its way to create a cinematic event that lasts a month for the first footage from the next Avengers movie, I believe that would be too lazy a move for the studio. Given that we have four core teams for Avengers: Doomsday and just as many confirmed trailers, Marvel could focus on a different team for each trailer. We can learn more about this X-Men's world and how they differ from the team we know, how the Fantastic four come to the main MCU, see Captain America recruiting heroes, and the New Avengers finding the Fantastic Four. This would be the perfect way to build hype for each team's role in Avengers: Doomsday. To unite the trailers would be Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom, as Marvel could share his interactions with the different superhero teams in their respective trailers. Whether that proves to be accurate remains to be seen when the first Avengers: Doomsday trailer releases next week.
