Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Marvel's Spider-Man 2 sees Peter and Miles taking on a variety of different villains over the course of the game's campaign. After two games, the superhero duo has amassed an impressive rogues gallery between them, and while they are set to take on several dangerous new threats, there are also figures from their past who will be returning throughout the sequel's campaign.
17 Kraven Kraven the Hunter brings his Great Hunt to New York City in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 after proclaiming his boredom with hunting animals and mortal humans, whom he deemed as "unworthy prey." One of his allies provided him with a tablet showing a map of New York and the various skilled, technologically enhanced, and superhuman beings that inhabit it, with the suggestion that they could finally give him the challenge he desires.
13 Grizzly A hunter who resembles Maxwell Markham's Grizzly, appears as part of Kraven's hunters, wielding a large axe in his showdown with Spider-Man. In the comics, Markham was a former wrestler who donned a grizzly bear suit and exoskeleton harness to take on Spider-Man, which definitely matches the hunter's look in the game.
Both Electro and Vulture do appear alongside Rhino in a Mr. Negative-induced trip inside Peter's mind, but these appearances are brief. Shocker doesn't appear in person at all, which may be disappointing for fans who wanted to see a homage to the 90s Spider-Man cartoon with Shocker and the symbiote in Insomniac's universe.
By the end of the game, the Prowler helped people evacuate Harlem from the threat of the volatile Nuform reactor before turning himself in to the police. He was then able to reduce his sentence by whistleblowing about Krieger and thanked Miles for making him a better person. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 takes place nine months later and Aaron has a presence in the game - albeit not as the Prowler - as he turns to Miles for help with finally closing the door on his criminal alter ego.
4 Chameleon The "Unidentified Targets" side activities see either Peter or Miles chase a series of drones across the city to make sense of all the targets Kraven is trying to find. The targets all appear to be irregular with the same DNA, or have died years prior.
