Matt Murdock's return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2026 is already off to a massively succesful start. According to FlixPatrol, Daredevil: Born Again season 2 has already emerged on the overall charts for Disney+ as #1.
The Charlie Cox-starring series is currently trending at #4 in the United States, but the success doesn't stop there. The Marvel Studios superhero drama has also climbed the Top 10 charts for the Disney-branded service worldwide. Per FlixPatrol, Daredevil: Born Again season 2 is also holding the #2 spot for Disney+ in Hungary, Ireland, and England, while sitting at #3 in Sweden, Spain, Slovenia, Serbia, San Marino, Australia, Romania, Canada, Poland, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Lithuania, Latvia, Italy, Iceland, Hong-Kong, Finland, Estonia, Denmark, and Andorra. Following the release of episode 1, the show is also surging at #4 on Disney+ in Brazil, Japan, Bahamas, Austria, Belgium, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, Liechtenstein, Mexico, Monaco, Latvia, Norway, Slovakia, Trinidad and Tobago, and Saint Kitts and Nevis. Daredevil: Born Again season 2 has also performed well for Disney+ subscribers in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, New Zealand, Panama, and Salvador, making it trend at #5 in the listed countries. In Bolivia, Peru, Paraguay, Taiwan, and Venezuela, it's trending at #6 on the popular streaming platform. Its success on the streaming charts is not the only victory for Daredevil: Born Again season 2, as the Phase 6 drama has emerged with a strong Audience Score and Critics' Score on Rotten Tomatoes. Marvel Studios has already greenlit Daredevil: Born Again season 3, which is currently in production, for its launch in 2027. How Daredevil: Born Again's Initial 2026 Success Is Good For The Rest Of Season 2 Daredevil has always been one of the most popular characters in the MCU timeline ever since Cox brought the iconic Hell's Kitchen crimefighter to life in 2015. As it became public knowledge that Daredevil: Born Again season 1 was a mixture of two different creative teams that had to be merged as one, there was more anticipation for season 2, as the show would be able to operate properly. Daredevil: Born Again season 2 is already a streaming hit and well-received with critics and the audience members, which sets up a positive trajectory for the coming weeks. More viewers will be continuing to tune in, meaning the show is bound to stay on the Top 10 charts for Disney+ for a good while, especially as Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones gets ready to return in the new season. Given how much of the Daredevil: Born Again season 2 story is also still being kept under wraps, if there ends up being big moments or reveals, as well as cameo appearances and larger MCU references, word of mouth will also continue to remain positive for the series, leading to more viewers actively being ready for the next episode the following Tuesday. If the reception also continues staying this strong, it bodes well for season 3 in 2027. Daredevil: Born Again season 2 drops new weekly episodes on Tuesdays at 9 PM ET/6 PM PT on Disney+, with the exception of March 31, when Marvel Studios will drop episodes 2 and 3 on the same night. 484 9.0/10 9/10 Daredevil: Born Again 10 stars 9 stars 8 stars 7 stars 6 stars 5 stars 4 stars 3 stars 2 stars 1 star Like Follow Followed TV-MA Drama Crime Action Sci-Fi Adventure Superhero Release Date March 4, 2025 Network Disney+ Showrunner Dario Scardapane Directors Aaron Moorhead, Justin Benson, David Boyd, Jeffrey Nachmanoff Writers Jesse Wigutow, Jill Blankenship, Thomas Wong, David Feige, Grainne Godfree Cast See All Franchise Daredevil, Marvel Cinematic Universe Main Genre Drama Streaming Service Disney+ Powered by Expand Collapse
