With Daredevil: Born Again serving as a blueprint for success, Marvel may be ready to revive its Moon Knight series, which failed to live up to expectations when it first premiered on Disney+. When Marvel began producing shows for Disney+ , it took some big swings, succeeding with hits such as WandaVision and Loki, but also had some significant misses, like Secret Invasion.
One of those disappointing misfires was Moon Knight, which wasn't the exciting series that fans had envisioned. However, after two seasons, Daredevil: Born Again offers the perfect blueprint for Marvel Television to take another shot at Moon Knight in a similar format.
'Daredevil: Born Again' Proves That Small-Scale Stories Can Work on Disney+ When Disney+ first launched, executives were hesitant about putting any programming that wasn't family-friendly on the streaming service, limiting content to a PG-13 rating at most. However, that all changed when the Netflix-era Marvel television shows were finally added to Disney+ in 2022.
Although Marvel's Netflix franchise originally concluded with The Punisher Season 2 in 2019, its inclusion on Disney+ ultimately led to Daredevil's return in a new revival series, Daredevil: Born Again, which faithfully continued the Netflix legacy of darker, TV-MA-rated shows. When Moon Knight debuted in the pages of Werewolf by Night #32, his costume, weapons, and gadgets weren't magical; they were provided by a group of villains called the Committee. The series also wasted Moon Knight's iconic"Mr. Knight" alter — the less said about that, the better.

Any fight scenes should be grounded, gritty, and brutal, which Daredevil: Born Again absolutely excelled at delivering; although Moon Knight possesses enhanced abilities, his powers have limits, and his battles should take a more physical toll. There has been little news regarding the possibility of a Moon Knight reappearance in recent years.
However, if the Man Without Fear can find redemption and success on Disney+ with Daredevil: Born Again, the same could happen for Marvel's Fist of Khonshu. Hopefully, one of the franchise's most underutilized heroes will get his own revival in the form of a show that actually fits both the character and his comic book roots.
