Matt Murdock's Daredevil in Marvel Comics and in the MCU
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Warning: contains spoilers for Dracula: Blood Hunt #1!
Dracula: Blood Hunt #1 is written by Danny Lore and drawn by Vincenzo Carratu. Bloodline, Blade’s daughter, holds the key to stopping her father, who has seemingly turned evil. She is beset upon by vampires, drawing Daredevil, who is unaware of her identity, into the fray. After a heart-to-heart talk, Dracula arrives, telling Bloodline to come with him. Daredevil does not know Dracula is helping Bloodline, and attacks him.
When Dracula first appeared in Marvel Comics, the intention was to keep him separate from the rest of their universe, but he proved too good a villain not to use, and by Tomb of Dracula’s second year, he was rubbing shoulders with the likes of Doctor Strange. Later, after Tomb of Dracula’s conclusion, the Lord of the Vampires will fight the X-Men and Thor as well. In each encounter, Dracula nearly defeats the heroes, showing his awesome power.
