From cosmic powerhouses like the Annihilators to any number of Omega-level X-Men teams, the heroes of the Avengers could be outmatched by more than a few different groups. And one fantastic group of allies just proved that their odds against the Avengers are heavily in their favor.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Fantastic Four #12 by Ryan North, Iban Coello, Jesus Aburtov, and VC’s Ariana Maher finds the titular quartet shunted to an alternate reality populated by dinosaurs where they go toe-to-toe with the dinosaur Avengers and make short work of Earth's Mightiest Reptiles. The team almost instantly breaks free of an energy cage generated by both Doctor Strange and Iron Man and squares off against their opponents.
Eventually, the two teams are able to communicate and resolve their differences, but that doesn’t change the major victory the Fantastic Four score during their initial encounter.The Fantastic Four Are Earth’s Mightiest Team While they usually prefer to occupy the roles of scientists and explorers, the Fantastic Four are often referred to as their world’s greatest superheroes.
Family Bonding Makes All The Difference For The Fantastic Four The Avengers are a team of world-class heroes, but the Fantastic Four are a family, and they know one another far more intimately than their colleagues in the Avengers. More often than not, the Four are going to know each other’s moves before they make them, and that type of teamwork can make all the difference in a life-or-death situation.
Ultimately, should the Fantastic Four ever go to war with the Avengers, things don’t look good for Marvel Comics’ flagship super-team. Individually the members of the Avengers may be Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. But when compared to the Fantastic Four, the Avengers aren’t Marvel Comics’ mightiest team.
