Marvel Studios' upcoming film 'Thunderbolts' features a team of antiheroes led by Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster, and John Walker. After being trapped by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, the disillusioned characters must face their pasts on a dangerous mission that could either tear them apart or lead to redemption and unity.
“Everyone deserves a second shot” is the tagline for the feature, which Marvel describes this way with its logline: “ Marvel Studios assembles an unconventional team of antiheroes — Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster and John Walker. After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, these disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts.
The feature stars Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Hannah John-Kamen and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The slew of MCU newcomers also join the franchise, including Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer and Wendell Edward Pierce.The film hails from director Jake Schreier and is produced by Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige.
