However, Sentry's full reveal can have a bigger impact closer to Thunderbolts*' April 2025 release date.
Sentry's immense power presents a nearly impossible challenge for Val's Thunderbolts, meaning that most of Thunderbolts*' runtime might focus on the team and their attempt to get along with each other, similar to the Avengers when they first assemble to fight Loki in 2012's The Avengers. It would then make sense for Robert Reynolds' Sentry transformation to be saved for Thunderbolts*' third act, leading to an intense final battle between Sentry and the Thunderbolts.
