Martin Scorsese is hoping to make a biopic about Frank Sinatra that would star Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence.
, Scorsese is planning to film a Frank Sinatra biopic sometime in the near future with DiCaprio and Lawrence. A studio is not yet attached to the project, though Variety reports Sony is said to be the current frontrunner.
DiCaprio has reportedly been tapped to play the legendary singer in Scorsese’s new movie, while Lawrence will portray Sinatra’s second wife, Ava Gardner. Further plot details are not available at this time.DiCaprio and Scorsese have collaborated on a number of projects before, including 2002’s Gangs of New York, 2004’s The Aviator, 2006’s The Departed, 2010’s Shutter Island, 2013’s The Wolf of Wall Street, and 2023’s Killers of the Flower Moon, along with a 2015 short film called The Audition.
