Martin Roberts emotional at 'amazing' discovery as he buries dad

A Homes Under The Hammer star says he has made an “extraordinary” discovery whilst burying the ashes of his late father. Martin Roberts took to Instagram to share their emotional moment with his fans.

“Thank you so much for coming up with all your suggestions after my conundrum of what to do with the excess of dad’s ashes. Brilliant ideas. The star went on to discuss his dad’s burial, which led to a poignant family discovery. He said: "We had the burial of the box yesterday and I’ve just got to tell you something absolutely extraordinary that happened.

“And then everybody left and I was just left with the gravedigger and I said, ‘By the way, did you find mum's casket? Is it below where dad’s is?’ He said, ‘No. I found the remains of it on the way down when I was digging.’
