THe money saving expert says all motorists should take five minutes out of their day to check
Money saving expert Martin Lewis has issued a warning to all motorists to take five minutes out of their day and check their driving licence. The warning comes as some drivers might not be aware of an important date that could invalidate their licence and put them at risk of facing a pricey fine from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency .
However renewing it online costs just £14 and motorists should see their new licence arrive within a week, according to guidance on GOV.UK. The money guru urged drivers in the recent edition of the MoneySavingExpert.com newsletter, where he urges people to “take my five-min financial fitness class to GAIN pounds - £100s of 'em” challenge by checking the cards they carry in their bag, wallet or purse.
