Martin Lewis has issued an urgent warning about scams which were using his face and name
The Money Saving Expert has taken to social media to remind followers that ads which feature him might not be all that they seem. Martin, whose Twitter profile picture is currently a photo of him with the words 'I don't do ads' written across his forehead, said fraudsters are 'hard pushing' scams that feature him.On Twitter, Martin wrote: "Sadly criminals are again hard pushing scams using my face and name, often with pics from TV shows.
In a picture attached to the Tweet, Martin clarified he does not do ads and he does not agree to appear in promoted posts. One commenter said: "I've seen loads with your name on Facebook.. quite a few referring to you on GMB too", while another added: "I had 4 of these scams on Facebook in just one day last week."
