The pitching market may start to heat up this weekend. On Friday, Seattle acquired right-hander Luis Castillo from Cincinnati for four prospects. Castillo, controllable through next season, was the most coveted name on the market. The Rangers had been among the teams pursuing him. “There’s so much to learn from what he’s doing right now,” manager Chris Woodward said. “We have some young players that can really just sit and watch him and learn. It’s fun to watch. It’s fun to watch a guy just locked in every night and confident. He believes in what he’s doing out there. All year, we’ve just seen him stay in the moment and be able to execute pitches.”
